LINCOLN WINDOWS

Lincoln Wood Products, Inc. has made "information access" the main focus of this site. Whether you're a builder, architect, dealer or homeowner, we want to offer you as much information about our company and products as we possibly can. We know that the more you learn about Lincoln, the better we look.

We offer a full line of wood windows and patio doors with primed or aluminum clad exteriors. Our products are sold nationally by independent distributors with whom we deal directly. Those dealers, in turn, deal directly with the contractor, architect or home owner.

The range of standard sizes and mull configurations provide a Lincoln window that is "just right" for almost any application. And, of course, we custom size our standard windows as well as create your design by drawing (with minimal limitations, of course).

The list of options and accessories available on Lincoln windows presents further opportunities for you to be as selective as you would be with your furniture and drapery fabric. Your personal space will only be made more comfortable and more beautiful to the eye of the beholder with your use of Lincoln Windows.

A casement is a window unit which has a side hinged sash that opens on a vertical plane. The window is typically opened by use of a hand crank on the inside base of the unit.

The popularity of Casement windows is enormous for several reasons. They adapt to any architecture and provide operation and performance features that can't be matched by other operating windows. Combined with studio units, they offer a multitude of different combinations in the form of Triple Picture units, Bow windows and 30° & 45° Angle Bay windows.

Our five standard glass widths and nine standard glass heights provide a vast size range of venting/stationary unit combinations. As with the entire Lincoln line of products, we offer custom sizing per your specifications.

Our Casements are built using the ThermTech sash, warm edge glass technology and is available either primed or in six aluminum clad exterior colors.
Historically, the more glass your house had, the higher your heating and cooling costs were going to be. If energy loss is going to occur, they'd exit easiest through the windows and patio doors. Advancements throughout the years have improved the glazing thermal properties to allow homeowners to provide natural light into a room without paying higher energy bills.

Our LoE² Glass Option is actually a 2-Part system that utilizes some of the latest technologies to help the homeowner better control energy heat loss and gain in their home. We've done a breakdown of our LoE² Glass to show the superior performance they offer and how the consumer benefits because of this technology.

Cardinal® LoE²® Glass

LoE²® glass by Cardinal®, is glass coated with optically transparent layers of silver sandwiched between layers of antireflective metal oxide coatings. These "smart" coatings selectively filter the sun's energy in the summer and reduce heat loss in the winter, providing year round energy savings.

During the summer months, the greatest potential for energy cost savings is air conditioning. LoE²® effectively filters out the infrared energy that drives up summer air conditioning costs, while blocking out 84% of harmful ultraviolet rays which damage curtains, carpeting and furnishings.

In the winter, LoE²® glass reflects the room-side heat back into the room which helps reduce heating costs. Plus, there's a significant reduction in the potential for wintertime "sweating" or condensation associated with ordinary non-coated insulating glass windows, because the interior of the glass is warmer.
Warm Edge Glass Technology

Warm edge insulating glass technology offers superior thermal performance and aesthetics, it retains it’s performance over the years thanks to it’s innovative spacer system design.

Warm edge insulating glass technology centers around the automated fabrication of insulating glass unit spacers. The warm edge spacer is made from a thin steel strip, automatically formed into a one-piece glass spacer/ structural support by computer operated machinery. Warm edge spacers provide excellent structural integrity and superior thermal performance while being more aesthetically pleasing due to the low profile U-channel being hidden from sight by the sash.

Doorwalls

Patio Doors - once merely a functional access to the patio, deck, verandah or yard, have evolved into a focal point of a leisurely and gracious lifestyle Sliding doors are now offered in sizes and styles to complement many architectural applications.

Quality and longevity are clearly evident in the manufacture of our Sliding Patio Doors. Frame and panels are manufactured using only kiln-dried select woods, treated with water-repellant wood preservative. The patio door sill is .125 pultruded fiberglass which ensures that they'll never rot or corrode while still providing excellent durability. A heavy-duty adjustable lock and latch mechanism is recessed into the operating panel. Options of keyed locks and deadbolt locks (toe locks) only add to their security and function.

The slide door line offers the same glazing and cladding options as our window line and are available in replacement, full 6-8 and 8-0 heights. Sidelites, transoms and radius units are available to add that final personal touch.
